Sixth Sunday of Easter & Mother’s Day

Event Description

The Premier has announced restrictions for this weekend across Greater Sydney, which impact upon our Parish.

This Sunday we will continue to gather for worship at 8:00am (St Mark’s) and 10:00am (All Saints’) to celebrate the Feast of Mary, Mother of our Lord and Mother’s Day, but with the following modifications:

  • We will celebrate with a special service of Prayer, Praise and Proclamation (there will be no Holy Communion);
  • We will not sing, but there will be music provided (either instrumental, or with a small group of singers – we are awaiting clarification);
  • Those over 12 years of age who attend are required to wear a mask.

Please pray for this situation and all who are sick, and that we might quickly respond to it and contain it. We continue to hold those nations and places in our prayers for whom this is not the case – especially India and Brazil.

For those who desire, a live-stream service will be available from All Saints’ from 10am:
